Making your views known

Gavin Astor House Nursing Home has a strong ethos of involving residents in all aspects of their life with us. We aim to provide a welcoming and open environment in which residents and their relatives can contribute their ideas and express their concerns knowing that these will be listened to.

As well as doing this through our complaints and compliments procedure and through regular questionnaires to residents, key members of staff may attend meetings of our Residents Committee to discuss specific topics. In this way we are able to take on board the views and wishes of residents in a number of areas that in the past have included choice of décor and furnishings, selection of new catering contractors, and creating our wheelchair-friendly woodland walkway around the gardens.
