Key Workers
Within Gavin Astor House Nursing Home, to ensure residents become well acquainted and comfortable with the staff who look after them, each resident is allocated a named nurse and a dedicated Key Worker.
The Key Worker has a special responsibility to build a personal relationship of trust with the resident, helping them to cope with their new life and to carry on old routines and interests if they wish to.
